first time in phuket

hi everyone.just writing to ask a few questions on phuket.im staying in phuket for the first time on 4th december to 18th december at the salathai hotel.i would just like to know the best areas in patong to get wrecked of cocktails and the pick up some cute thai girl,i think you might say anywere in patong lol.how much do you usually pay for LT from bar girls,i dont want to get ripped off but plobably will after plenty of gin & tonic and vodka redbull lol.whats it like in early december is it very busy or do most people go for christmas.any info on these matters will be much appreciated cheers.

From what I was told, the average price should be 1000 baht to 1500 baht, though I paid 4000 baht first time I was there cause I didn’t know any better. As to where you can find girls, this girl approached me on Bangla Road. She just asked me if I want a beer and took me to one of the beer bar near where the Go Go bars are.

Dead easy across the road from the Salathai is Soi Seapearl, otherwise you're about a 5-10 min stagger to Bangla. December is high season but not the peak of xmas or songkran - but it shouldn't make much difference!

That's to Bangla then it's about a 30 minute stagger back to the hotel.
