Tarzan not Tintin
Tarzan, I think I owe you an apology.
When I was last in Patong in July I met you a couple of times at MTB. We had a drink and a chat. You struck me as a really good bloke and a good laugh. Only thing is, when Nicke first pointed you out, I thought he said you were Tintin, not Tarzan. (Either he was pissed or I was, or maybe we both were!)
So, ever since, I was thinking that Tintin was you. When there was all that commotion about him leaving the board in a huff, and people slagging him off, I didn't take part in the thread but I thought it was a shame, as "Tintin" seemed like an OK bloke to me. It was only when I was looking at Jonny's photos (nice pix by the way, Jonny!) that I realised.
I remember you used to really flame him sometimes in your posts. So you're probably mortified to think that I thought you were him!
Apologies again mate!

Not same same
I think that a Bm on the board and in real life can be very different! Maybe a bm you liked here, because his post were appealing to you can be a s**ker in real life when you meet him in person.
I had the experience many times! I am a hi-fi fan and spend quiet some time on Hi-fi forums! When there is a togetherning for a fair or just a diner, it is incredible to see how people are different in the "real life" as you imagined!
On one of this forums there was a guy attacking everybody wanted always the last word. Although I do not easy quarel on a forum, I managed to have some words with him!
When I met him in real life, I had to admit, that he was one of the most charming guys of the forum I met!
Not only was he quiet intelligent, he really new everything about Hifii!
I honestely think that what you are writing on a forum, doesn't always reflect your personality! What is written, can have larger consequences than spit out in a real conversation!
I always judge, when I have met the person in real life!

 .No offence taken.
I flamed him hard, and i really regret that i did it in public.I should have spared this board all those post (even if it is good for my postranking ).
I should have kept it in PM`s instead, or even better just let him be...
But it is history now. I hope Tintin takes his medicine and comes back posting relevant posts, because he had some interesting wiews of things...

Of course there can be differences between posting on the board and meeting in real life.
But i have met alot of BM`s, and they have been same guys in real as in this board. Only one has been Dr Jekyl/Mr Hyde. (FFF)
Otherwise the guys has been as they are in this forum.
I think, and i hope i am the same guy at this board as in real life. I have always said what i think, and am the first to apologyse if im wrong.
It doesnt always reflect your personality, but if i think if someone is a pain in the a ss here, and nice in the bar, i get suspicious...
