Well i fly...Luftansa, quiet the same price, no restrictions!
But I leave in Holland, take a....Thai airways plane in Frankfurt, and in Bangkok take a flight with Air Asia to Phuket
Now, somebody has to explain me, how I got a better deal booking Luftansa, having, EXACTELY the same flights then with Thai airways, and pay 30 % less!

it depends on what time of year you want to fly ,high season will cost you an arm and a leg,for low season i have seen flights for about £300.
my xmas flight has cost me £800 ish from bhx to amsterdam to bkk, my last tour of duty in april was about £500 direct to bkk .
best to do a search on sites like
www.cheapestflights.com
www.airlinenetworks.com
etc etc

1450 for 33 nights i think they saw you coming, for that length of stay you should be getting it a lot cheaper.i wouldnt bother staying there for that price.
as for flights i got lhr-kuwait-bkk-phuket for 700 quid all in.pity i gotta spend 3 hours in kuwait on way out and 6 hours there on way back.such a nice place.

If you paid more than £3 a pint then you were ripped off.Dubai Airport is 16-18dirhams a pint (6dhs to the £).It is a nice airport though.

eva air
travelled with eva air on my last trip to LOS in march, would highly recomend Evergreen Deluxe class.direct flight to bkk from heathrow, london for £645.its not ecomony or buissness class ,its in between.goood service, choice of meal, nice leg space(can push chair back to sleep or rest, not quite sure of the angle)and your own t.v screen.
flying back to LOS in november with eva,i think paying that bit more is well worth it
DO WHAT U WANT 2 DO,AFTER ALL,IT IS UP 2 U.

You should have a look at www.go4less.ie, They normally have lots of great deals for students and under 26s. But they only fly to bangkok.

I flew Amsterdam - Bangkok with China Airlines back in june this year. Good service, non stop movies. Had spacious emergency seat as requested upon check-in. On the way back didn't even have to ask for it as they kept record of my earlier request. I think most airlines from far east Asia are pretty good anyway.

One of the cheapest sites i know of but i'm not sure if you can fly from Ireland , think these deals are from Heathrow only. perhaps you could get a cheap flight to Heathrow 1st.
£335 on Thai air http://www.westeasttravel.com/user/default.asp

Flight Prices
Thai Airways is really strange. Book a flight on Thursday Nov 4th to Phuket returning on Sunday 14th Nov. £561. Book it for the Wednesday 3rd Nov same return date and time £403. Hmm.. That is quite a lot of money really for an extra day in LOS....

Hi andy,
I flew business once from hkt-bkk out of necessity not choice, as no spaces in econ and had to get back to bkk.
If the money was there it would be my choice of travel every time. IMHO it's worth the extra just to try it out in LOS, as in uk it would be v unlikely for me to afford.
Lots of extra space and a Stew on perm stand by waiting to help out passengers. I opened a book to pass the time and the stew came over to turn my light on so I could see better. When I shut the book she came back over to turn the light off. Drinks as soon as in the air, food before econ and bags off the plane quicker.
Really added to the fantasy of " you rich hansum man etc..."
