I know the general price, but can anyone give a solid breakdown on the current BG price in these categories:

It is good to see knowledgeable members quoting the right price.
On pricing for BG services, I was sitting in my regular bar when I asked one of the girls why she was so happy. She said her american customer ( a young good looking bloke) was paying her 5000bt a day. I smiled at her and said chok dee daak ling, she smiled and said 5 days 25000bt how many more can I keep him. Forums like this help keep the pricing reasonable for everything in Los. Especially Patong which is becoming European priced along the beach road. 2 days back in Los.

It also goes deep to the American mindset though... In America money buys status and more money buys more service.. The concept of tipping the barman big gets your drinks poured stronger and faster etc and permeates through everything.. The UK is still more hung up on a class system for status as opposed to a purely money system.
With the habit that the more you drop the better the service it makes some sense to think that the more you spend on a girl the better she will treat you this maybe true to some extent but I think it does not buy the respect that Americans often expect from it (eg the girls tend to think of the guy as dumb or mad rather than clever etc).. No dig and Seppos at all (you will know when I am digging  ).. just an observaion that I think hold true..

True words spoken by all of you about us yanks buying status. I think we overpaid a little last year, but only by 500-1000bht. We are so used to paying $150USD (6000bht) for a 30 minute full-service Korean massage here in LA that we considered 2000bht a killer deal. We will adjust our prices on this trip so we don't ruin the fun for everyone...my plane leaves in 10 days!

Sorry to tell that , but when i spoke with used tourist of Thailand (many many years) , a lot of people agrees that American or Japanese pay so much , thats prices increased.
Maybe just because for them it is small money. That s not a critic against these people , i just report what people says.

overpaying
No dig at anyone just an observation.
I went to the bank one day in september04 and watched a girl changing japanese yen 12000, my BG talked to her, the result of the conversation was this girl worked for one night and 2 japanese only watched her take off her clothes and play with herself. I am no cheap charlie but no wonder the girls go silly for the japanese.

I'm American. I talk to my friends who go to LOS. They think that I am crazy when I say that I don't like to pay over 1000 Baht for LT. They say to me that "you get what you pay for". By this they mean that for a good-lookin girl they expect to pay 2000. They say fine if you want average-looking, pay 1000, but you waste your time trying to get the pretty ones for 1000.
They feel that 2000 Baht is a good deal for LT with pretty girl. They don't want to be accused by the girl of being a cheapskate, and don't like the unpleasantness of trying to talk her down from her asking price. It is not that Americans have more money. Look at the Euro. It is worth much more, not the dollar. The dollar is worth less than it was on my first tour in 2002. Nor do Amercans make more money. Wages are lower in the US than in Western Europe. Not to mention the fact that we have to buy our own healthcare also. I think at the bottom of it is the fact that In America, prostitution is illegal and not accepted, therefore the whole sex trade is very dangerous, sleazy and/or and expensive. You have to be almost desparate to go to a prostitute here, because it is not even fun, and costs so much and you could get thrown in jail. I read an article last week that in the nearby city of Oakland, there were two hundred arrests for men soliciting prostitutes, and most of them had there cars confiscated also. If you approach a ****** on the street, and it turns out that she is a policewoman, then you are arrested. They take your car and don't give it back. They have auctions every month of all the cars that get confiscated. This is what we are up against here. The only other option is to call an escort service or FL escort from the newspaper. Then the risk is not as great, but the price is $300 to $400 per hour on average, $2500 to $3000 for a night. That is why to pay $50 for a nice girl who will treat you good, is fun(U.S. ******s are mostly not fun, strictly business), and parties, goes places with you, etc. That kind of treatment is impossible to get here except for the superwealthy, i.e,, billionaires.

JB what I meant by my comments are that the girls in Patong will take the best price they can get and this is usually given by those who have not done
their research. In Australia I would never go to a brothel or see a prostitute, Los is as you know a completly different experience. IMHO there is always good talent to be found at the LT1000 with the FL or the other girls when it hits 0230 as you know up by the Sand Inn its the desperate and dateless. The BGs that is. Patong is a buyers market and sometimes a stunner who is out of luck may turn into a gem at a more reasonable price. I think that once the girls know you eat thai/issan food know how to act in a predominately thai karaoke, the GFE becomes better at a much better price.

I agree with you, all to some extent.
Fun2have, I agree that you can find a pretty girl most nights for 1000 Baht in Phuket. I did find it harder to do in Bangkok unless you want street girls, which is a little dangerous. My friends mostly go to BKK, except the one who goes to Phuket who is so loaded that he doesn't blink at paying 3000. He has never paid less than 3000. If you made $500,000 per year, you probably wouldn't want to waste your time quibbling, either. Mostly, my friends don't make a lot of money, though. One is a ditch-digger. He drives a backhoe and has to find his own work. Another works odd jobs as a handyman one or two days a week, the other days he looks in thrift shops and garage sales where he buys odd items that he sells at the flea market on Sunday. He get up at 3:00 AM every Sunday to go the market. He doesn't even have his own apartment. He rents a room from an old lady. LivinLos, I don't know much about living in Europe, but what some German ladies told me they paid for their aparment in Berlin was cheap. Much more just to rent a room in San Francisco. 2 or 3 times as much for an apartment. The cost of living is very high here. I don't know what you mean by easy to make money here. If it was so easy, we would all be rich! I work very hard for what I make, as do most everyone I know. It was not always this way. It was much easier to make money 5 or 10 years ago, and not as expensive to live here. I think that the average wage is lower in America, although some skilled jobs pay very well. As for taxes, on all money earned in excess of the first $28,000 which is taxed at about 30%(including SS tax), then I pay 55% on the rest. For this, I get no healthcare benefit, which costs me approx. another $5,000 per year. For all these taxes, I get to read about all the "smart" bombs they drop in distant lands. Also where I live, most people get no paid vacation, and the ones that do usually only get 2 weeks. Many Europeans get six weeks, plus maternity and paternity leave, plus sabbatical. The idea of getting paid while you are taking a vacation seems like somebody's dream. I can't even imagine it. I only get paid for hard work. Bobby, I agree that overpaying doesn't guarantee better treatment. That is the main reason that I don't like to pay more, because I think then they think you are a sucker and don't respect you, only respect your money. P.S. LivinLOS, if you know how to get rich quick easy in US, I would very much appreciate it if you could share that information with me as I would like to get rich quick but have not figured out how to do it as of yet.

ive negotiated 1000baht for each girl ive had so far and 2 of them were go-go girls,seems to be a buyers market at the moment,but 2 of the girls were excellent company so i gave them a extra 300baht,maybe im a sucker but if they make it a good and fun time im happy to look after them.....

Money
Its probably bad for everyone to overpay. Overpaying can make the girl feel cheap so rationalising this to 'the client is mad' helps her keep face. After all, if the money is throwaway then what does that make her? If you haggle a little then it looks like you are making some sacrifice on her behalf.....maybe?
Treat them well, look after them and make them feel special which costs effort rather than money and you get 1000 times better response from them. Most BGs will make you feel like a prince if you let her be (and treat her like) the princess.
