Overstay Visa
Ive just noticed that ill be overstaying by a day on my visa.
Will they even notice? Or will this be a problem? And if so what will i have to do?
Can i just sort it out when i get there or will i have to cancel my flights and find new ones?
Thanks for any advice given
Ps: By the way its just the normal 30day visa.

You will pay 200 baht/day for every day you overstay your visa. Normally I dont recommend people to overstay their visas but if only one day I wouldnt bother. You clear this with immigration at airport when you leave Thailand.
The correct procedure is to visit immigration and pay 1900 baht for visa extension, 7-14 days.

Normal deal in BKK is one day overstay free second day you pay both days...
I once had a 2 AM flight and check in started at 11.. The queue took ages and I crossed the imm desk at about 12:20.. Buggers had me for both days even though I was only 20 mins into day 2 !!

im sorry for the non-topic, but this reminded me of something.
on my last trip, my bank turned off my ATM card because i forgot to notify them that id be traveling to thailand and they saw all these withdrawals, so the last 3 days in BKK, i had no cash on me. i had to use my crdit card everywhere, which is not the easiest thing in thailand. anyways, the moring i was leaving, i had a little cash on me. i offered the girl i was with some money for a taxi, she declined. thank god, i forgot about the airport fee. i had 530 baht, leaving me 30baht

Probably Alright?
Probably alright to turn up at the airport with your papers not in order. But what if it isn't and you meet the thai immigration officer from hell. What if they suspect that since you do not have the right papers it is likely that your passport is forged. What if they decide that those simple artifacts bought in the bangla road are in fact priceless thai heritage which you are illegally exporting for your own nefarious purposes? Frightened now...
No worries. The Hilton has vacancies.

I wouldn`t recommend overstay same. They know everytime how much how often you "overstayed". Maybe some day you want to stay longer in thailand ....
