Karaoke and quiet (piano?)bars

When I am in Phuket and like a girl that I take for a few days, I am a bit tired sometimes to hang out in the bar!

Last time I asked a girl I was with if we could go to a karaoke, as I like to sing.

She took me to a place, where nobody was, just small rooms with a television!

Did not understand the fun of that, so I went!

Now next time I would like to find a nice karaoke-place, a normal one, with much people singing, like I was used to in Antwerp! Can somebody help me with that?

I also want to go to a place, not to crazy, where they play good live-music! Any ideas? At what time do they start, espacially with the new closing -hours!

Same-same, to find a nice (but not too fancy) pianobar, wher you don't get ripped off!

And to end, what IS the purpose of those small karaoke-rooms????

the hotel i stay in patong has a nice restaurant outside and they have a piano player. very nice and a good nite with a girl

its baan yin dee. its up on the hill in patong going towards karon. it is expensive to stay but if you want to have a nice quiet dinner with a girl, listen to the piano, it is a good night and the food is good
