Jimmy, I'll be in Phuket Nov. 5-14. I'm also interested in going fishing. Let me know if you'll be there at that time and be interested in sharing a charter.

i will be in patong from 18 nov mad keen on game fishing since 3 years ago had a35 kilo sailfish ,would be happy to share a boat with like minded anglers ....contact

will be in patong nov 12 to 15 staying at the expat hotel are interested in fishing charter if you need numbers and are going during this time, no dramas if you planning for other time.

Hi Guys,

Not been to LOS since 1999, but we did charter a boat via one of those agents along the front. Basically, it was just a tourist trip with fishing rods thrown in. Dont think the guys on the boat knew anything about 'real' fishing, and there is plenty of it out there.

If I had my time again, I reckon I'd have a go with these guys:

It may cost quite a bit more, but they seem to be far more set up for fishing, rather than just ferrying farangs round the ocean for a day. Cheapest isnt always best in matters like this.

Jimmy, I'll be at Mai Thai on Nov. 10, 9:00. I'll try to check with different charter companies to get an idea of what's going on. This Wahoo outfit looks pretty professional, but no mention of rates. I don't mind spending more money for a quality charter, but I'm not into spending a fortune fishing. See you on the 10th.

Click on the fleet button, choose your vessel and the rates are displayed. Like I said, a bit more money, but personally I'd rather have 1 day with them knowing you at least have a chance of catching, rather than 3 or 4 days just feeding the gulls
