Diving in Phuket

Hello chaps,

Would like to know what are the best dive sites in and around Phuket, also if anybody knows of specific company's that they would recomend I should use. Any help would be sound as a pound.

If you have limited time dont bargain shop... There are lots of companies and if you know a bit of the area I gather you can get deals and fun on the cheap but if you only have a couple of weeks (and are used to spending farang money amounts anyway) go with some of the bigger and more reputable places..

Warm Water Divers run a top class operation
Dive Aisa does also but my mates working for them al relocated up to the Khao Lak area lately..

If you want to I can ask some of my divermaster mates a bit more or get you a direct line into either of these companies.. May get you 'mate rates' instead of tourist rates.. Of course if your here from Dec 15th - Jan 10th then all discounts are out the window

Depending on your level of diving, king cruiser is an average wreck dive,so is shark point,but the jewel in the crown is the similian islands.

LivinLOS that is very kind of you, I am in Phuket from 22-4 December. If you could speak to your dive friends i would certainly owe you a beer or 3.

My friends own Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center and Merlin Divers and they pop into MTB once in a while. Also a board member here runs Sunrise Divers in Karon/Kata beach.

When I went to dive with ETV last time we went with West Coast Divers, this company have a very modern and good fleet of boats.

I am just a beginner and havent been to Similands or Burma Banks yet, but everybody recommend it.
