Is patong beach hotel a good place to stay is it B G friendly first time in phuket i have booked but can change travel in feb

I have stayed at this hotel twice... personally i loved it, great hotel with good location, good facilities and great service, last time i went with my G/friend (so wasn't to concerned with guest friendliness).... however i dont think it is too guest friendly, as they charge 3000 baht for a "guest", but i have been told , that if you book a twin share room they won't charge for the guest, but each other guest will be at 3000 baht...!!

If you wanna stary an a nice, good class hotel, then this is the one for the money, however if you had other things on your mind

, then maybe not... You could alway e-mail the hotel for further advice....

Thanks for the info Jaysen I may have to look in to a more guest friendly hotel if you have any suggestions it would be a big help

Definetly Not BG friendly. I use to stay there but they kept increasing the joiner fee and when it got to 1500 baht I started looking elsewhere and have been at the C & N ever since.

p.s. Very nice hotel otherwise

Yep the C&N seems to be quite popular with a few BM's here

, but the Stoney Monday Hotel looks good as well (check link below), and as far i know, i think it is Guest friendly, but it's about a 10min walk to all the action...
The accomadation section has some really good info about the more popular hotels with the BM's, so check that out when you have some time
