|
What island/s?
Would like to know what islands are a MUST to visit when I am in Phuket. Some people have told me Krabi others Phi Phi, would like the advice of BM's thoug. Cheers fellas.

Krabi is mainland..
Raja Island is a great one.. Can do a speedboat tour of a few if you can work up a group.. they all have different appeals..

phi phi island is still good except it has suffered for several years from overcrowding and pollution from raw sewage the smell at the back of tonsai village is gross.if you go book ahead and get somewhere out of tonsai.why not try ko lanta still pretty clean ad laid back but you might want to take a tg with you as theres not too much to do at night exept eat and drink at the places set out on the beaches

I wanted to do Lanta, but a lot of people I spoken too said it not so nice and the beach nothing special
A great tour is the Similan Islands! But you cannot stay there, there a re, luckily no hotels!

After a few much better days, shi* has hit the fan again! But... I don't give up easily!  I will just go, just not to let that disease dictate my life! If I am bad, I will sleep near the ocean with my TG caressing me!

I liked Ao Nang very much. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Hired a moped there and enjoyed the surroundings. Most of the other days I spent on boattrips
 Phi Phi is about the only place in Thailand I didn't like. Thought I was visiting some Mediterranean island. Wasted by tourism if you ask me. Thai people who I met were spoiled by tourism and forgot the existance of the word service. I think nightlife sucked.  The only thing I liked of Phi Phi were the 'suay' scenic views
