New to the Forum - Hi
Hi All,
This is the first message I have posted on the forum. I am a regular reader of the threads and so i have decided its time to strart contributing  I have been visiting LOS for 13 years and my dad still lives in Patong. I will be over for Christmas and New Years !!!!

Welcom. BTW when you visited LOS for 13 years now and your dad still lives there maybe you have some pics of LOS from a long time ago. A century ago in this forum BM`s were talking about photo`s of patong from long times ago and if we still could recognize or know the places. So maybe when you have photo`s of that we can look how much is changed over a decade.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys...
I will try and dig out some old photos of patong.... Man .. Patong has changed so much since then!! I remember when 'Ocean' in Bangla was still dust and being used as a rubish dump, and if there was any rain, 90% of the roads (then most were still mud roads) were inaccessible. Especially if you wanted to goover the hill to Phuket, Karon, or Kamala... all those hills were closed off.. gone are those good old days.. welcome Starbucks, KFC  1 thing that has not changed over 13 years however is the Kanagroo Bars popularity...I will definatly visit MTB in 6 weeks time!!!
