New Years Eve, Bangla Road

Happy New Year everybody,

Well, last night I went to Bangla Road and did my usual things. Soi Katoey and ladyboy show. When the show finished at 11.45 I went out into Bangla Road. The police had closed the street to all traffic, and people were lighting fireworks ad chinese crackers in the street. If you have seen/heard chinese crackers before, you will know how loud they are and good to watch. Now multiply it by 10, and then a bit more and you will start to get an idea of what it was like. Hundreds of people all setting fire to things. Bangla Road was one big red carpet of burnt paper, and you could only see for about 20m because of the smoke. The noise was tremendous. I have photos of it all, that you wont believe. If you only have one trip per year, try to make it at new year. Believe me you will never see anything like it in your own country.

The police didnt trouble any bar owners and certainly were I was in Soi Seapearl we were drinking until 7am.

The strange thing was, that last night i didnt **** anything!!!! Never mind, I will make up for it tonight
