Yes it si a great site and good to see newbies posting. We always like to be helpful at the forum, and enjoy hearing the fresh stories of first-time trips!

I gotta say I was a naive (still am) young fella who knew nothing about LOS. I've been there only twice and loved it both times - with wife along side. I've learned a lot about the culture and do's and don'ts of LOS as well as places to visit should I ever feel the urge (if you know what I mean).
The point being is I haven't posted much but I read here often and have learned so much about the way of Thai people as well as loved reading the stories of the different BM's. thanks again guys.

Hello Dawsey
Thanks from a newbie.I dont post very much at all,av read loads and loads of threads.But having not been to L O S yet my advice wouldnt carry much weight but when I get back I will also try to contribute more and hopefully get some photos to on here.Very good site this and thank god I found it.

yes, this is a great site, if only i had known about it before my first few trips to los! i would have saved a small fortune !what with being a bit guillable to the sad stories that some of the ladies made up to take my money(i dont blame them, id probably do the same in their shoes/flip flops

I would have never known what to expect from thailand if it wasnt for a site like this. I have never had a more wonderful time than my stay in Thailand. The information here is invaluable, I hope I can contribute some useful information myself now. Thanks to everyone for my introduction to the Land of Smiles.
