Hi
Do any of you guys know of a naturist beach somewhere near Kata? A friend went there a couple of years ago but his directions are rather vague "walk up to highest point outside Kata, and down the other side".

I never heard of any naturists beaches in thailand as they are very conservative and that kind of thing is very much frowned upon

I agree, i know a few Thai people here in the UK and they were surprised to say the least, but my mate is adamant such a beach exists. I've done various searches on Google but with zero success.
Anyway, i arrive in Phuket this Thursday night, so can look for myself.

Never heard of it and sincerely doubt it.. Even topless bathing is not really appropriate.

I did skinny dip once at a very small beach next to Laem Promthep Cape.
had 3 bg's with me doing the same also but took plenty of reassurance from me 1st to persuade them.
But i wouldn't advise it as i think if the boys in brown had of spotted us we could have been in the brown stuff ourselves.

When you go to the end of KataNoi and climb over the cliffs, just around the corner, there you can lie flat on the rocks and go swimming. But you need shoes to go over there and a lot of little crabs are crawling around. During the week you can find farangs from Austria and France sometimes there.

Once I was talking with two thai men, when I was flying over to LOS. They told me, when they were young, it was quite common to go swimming nude, they would recommend to look around on Ko Chang (near Trat)
