Pay for toilet?

Ok I think a read this somewhere here, do you have to pay to use the toilet in bars & a gogos? Cause once I've got about 5 beers under the belt and I go the first time ("break the seal") I've gotta go like every 2-3mins.

5 baht x 10 times (would be excessive) 50 baht in a night
money is well spent for clean toilet and it is a bit of an experince
I believe many euro country charge more.
just pay it its nothing half a beer

I have never been charged in any country in europe for the use of toilets in a pub/club etc... But i agree with you 5baht is nothing and if there's is any BMs that dont like to pay the 5baht then whatever you do dont go around to soi seapearl because you might have a heart attack they charge a whopping 10BAHT

All the inside bars, including gogo's provide free toilet facilities for their customers. Expect to pay if you use and are not drinking in that particular bar.

It would amaze me to see somebody sitting in any Agogo and not buying even 1 drink - talk about cheap charlie

Oh thats good. You're right 5baht is nothing I was thinking it was like around 50baht for some reason.

For whoever said they never payed for toilet is europe: My friends went to Rome on a holiday and had to pay a couple of Euro @ every public toilet.

Im the one that said that And i was not talking about public toilets I was talking about bars/retaurants etc.. Any bar/restaurent that ive ever been at in europe, Ive never payed for the use of a toilet ever or have i seen anywhere charge but there could be a few, Anyway why did they use the public toilets in the 1st place because there always located around touristy locations? Where there's also lots of bars/restaurants and if your as clever as me you'd use one of the bars/restaurants and not have to pay

didnt mean to upset you allybabba, no need to tell me off. Im sure they were around alot of the tourist attractions, I know they didnt go there for the simulating conversation, they cant speak Italian!

I was under the impression that there is shared toilets between mutiple bars in a Soi that were independently operated, similar to Rome, but all my questions have been answered now.

thanks guys.

Too true mate, but it's sad to see people trying to rip touists of even for he princely sum of 5 baht. You have to wonde about their mentality sometimes

Just heard a story of a farang buying a house, his thai wife dealt with the price and transaction, she skimme off the top fo herself 200,000 baht without the farang husband knowing. Needless to say a relation of the family was building the house an prices were inflated in order for the family to further profit................ just shows who can you trust..................

Tourists get ripped off in every country, And im sure a lot of people get ripped off more than 5baht, Sure we got ripped off on the bungee jump also and how i know is when i got there, There was a price list on the counter that said it was 1200baht, But one of the fella's start talking to us and when i turned around the list mysteriously dissapeared or as they said was never there, And we ended up paying 1400baht

And i think we might have been ripped off on the go-carts aswell because they charged us 700baht for 15mins on the 125cc.. Which i thought was a bit pricey at the time but thought nothing of it until i was off them and i was sitting down having a coke, And the lady came over and asked me a strange question, She said "Was 700baht ok for go-karts with a smile on her face" so then i knew for sure we were overcharged
