Can depend on the software you are using wylos. If its MGI or Photoshop just use the resize to 640x480 then click properties and see if you have more than 100kb.If you have ,continue to resize by reducing the picture size, keeping the same ratio, until the properties button tell you you have reduced it down to 100kb or less.I assume its to post photos on this forum.

If you do use Photoshop try this simple method, works every time for me.

Open the file, then go to image, image size. A little box will appear. In the document size, set 5 inches to be the biggest dimension depending on whether its a 'tall' or 'wide' piccy. Set the resolution at 150 pix/inch. Make sure constrain proportions and resample image are checked. Then save this image to wherever on your hard drive. The piccy will go quite small on your screen, dont panic!!. Next, go to file, save for web. In the preset, ensure jpeg high is set. Then click save again. You will be asked for a folder to save it to, choose one, and name the piccy for future reference. Upload this to wherever you upload your pics to. The file size will be small enough for most hosts, but the piccy quality is still quite good.

Hope that helps.
