Newbie!

Hi chapps, been reading the forum for a while although this is my first post having finally registered! Looking forward to joining in some interesting discussions.
I first went to Thailand in 1996 and divided my time between Pattaya and Bangkok. The palce got me hooked but didn't get a chance to go back untill October of this year due to relationship committments.
This time I spent a couple of days in Bangkok and the rest in Phuket. I had an awesome time and am coming back again in January for a couple of weeks.
Had such a great time in October so I'm hoping January is just as good.
I'll be leaving on Jan 13th. What's it like at this time of year? I know it's much busier but are there still plenty of girls available?
Also how easy is it to book accomodation for Ko Phi Phi from Phuket a day or so before? Easy in October but how about Jan?
Any input to my questions greatly appreciated.
cheers,
Para.

Welcome Para! Many girls available, no problem at all!

Very good season, the familys are less present then with the x-mas period.

The weather is terrific, and there is a lot of athmosphere in the bars!

For Phi-phi, it is a different story. As it is still high season and Ph-Phi is small I should require before leaving, where you want to stay! It doesn't mean that you will NOT find accomadation, but it is safer!

Have fun!

I dont like Phi Phi in high season at all, too crowded for such a small paradise island. In low season it is really a paradise.

Thanks guys, another question for any members out there with the relevant experience.
I'm thinking of flying a girl I met in Bangkok over to Phuket.Just for a couple of days about midway through my holiday. Hence the Phi Phi enquiry. She's worth it believe me!
Before and after this I will obviously be doing a bit of butterflying. If I end up going with a girl for a couple of nights in Phuket before she flies over then what's the easiest way of letting the BG down? Should I just tell her straight that I'm meeting someone? I like to have fun with a few different girls but it's also nice to stick with one for a couple of days if things are going well.
Any thoughts?

You find out.. Then you can tell me..

That way at least 2 people will know

More seriously best thing to do is just be totally honest.. Say you are a butterfly or even tell her you have a GF arriving on X day.. Dont mess with lies as it always seems to backfire..
