I dont believe it... Hell I have slept rough on the streets in very sub zero temps in bitter midwinter when I was a kid..

No way that a 10 degree night would freeze you to death.. Seems to me like Thai reporting for someone who may have died drunk..

I think so, LivinLOS, it sounds a little bit unbelievable .... Someone who can die of freeze in Thailand ?????? Crazy, sure. European people use to live with 10 degrees, not so cold. As you, I think he was too drunk or overdosed. Anyway, it is a pity for him and family.

Well they did say it was cold outside Chang Mai that night. Alcoholics are more prone to hypothermia than some others - so it could be a bit of both

Hi Jimmy,

The temperature in Chiang Mai the night the man died was 50 degrees F which is 10 degrees C. In LOS and Europe, they go by Celsius temperatures. Not easy to freeze in 50 degree weather. That's a pleasant midsummer's night in Minnesota!

JayBee

BTW - Happy Birthday!!!!
