last night i was at fenwick's in hong kong, great place! i had to leave and go to the ATM. there were 2 young irish kids at the ATM next to me and 2 old chinese mamsans telling them to take out too much money. i grabbed 1 of the kids and asked what was going on, the lady was charging them 4000HKD for a girl. i said no, and took them back to fenwick's. they were so nice and funny. the chinese girl i was talking to found them 2 gils for 1000HKD and i told them to look around, maybe they see better. they were funny, they were like,"no we happy with these girls: just thought id share that with you, they were real nice, funny kids. i like you irish lads, good guys the bunch of you!

A good deed done. here's somthing that happend to me in Patong . Early one morning I was doing my munk walk with the munks and decided to walk down beach road from my hotel the honey house. Next to Mcdonalds and the post office there's a open space with a restraunt,if remember right. Could be a little further down as it's been a few years. Anyhow I hear from sombody,GOODMORNING VIETNAM! Sitting there at a table close to the road was a 60 or so old gent drinking beer at 6a.m. He was from Norge(Norway)and was buying. I said hello and yes I would'nt mind a beer because the hangovers hurt more then they used to. Anyhow I get my beer and the gent gave the waiter a 8,000 tbk tip. Now I'm wondering is this right or is he in need of some judgement. There was a thai women there,30
somthing that then took all the money he had and left(his gf). He then said no problems I got more comming today,his pension from Norge. He got it every month,had a visa from his bank in Norge. We took a tuktuk back to his room that he shared with his gf. I forgot to mention this gent was unkept,no shoes ect. His girl friend had sufferd a motor bike accident in thailand before they met,trauma to the brain. He had also suffered some head injury in Norge.Any how the good deed was I had him pack his things and took him to my hotel there he stayed a couple a days. I then rented a bungalow in Kamla for him.Arranged for a girl to help manage his pension, cook and clean(a muslim girl).Last I heard he had rented a beach bungalow at Kamla beach and was doing fine.This being Three or so years ago.
