Best tours to take?

I was thinking about doing the following tours:
1.) white water rafting/elephant ride tour
2.) trip to fantasea (what do I see here, everthing?)
3.) Phi Phi Island
4.) Mai Thai Boxing club

Is there anything else that I should, or you would, add as a MUST DO.
I really love white water rafting, neone know the quality of the white water?

Snorkeling / Coral..

Once high season drops off I intend to try that power snorkel deal with the underwater motor and surface beather set..

Is the white water rafting the one up in Krabi.. Thats another I have on my 'to do' list..

all 4 are good would include James Bond Island with the sea canoes also.
Fantasea is a great show and food was good
PHI PHI island great also

"Bang Pae Waterfall and Gibbon Rehabilitation Project" is worth a look

"Nice waterfall and you can also visit Gibbon Rehabilitation Project and support their work. Sometimes visitors can have a guided tour and get more information about each monkey, sometimes they don't allow any visitors at all to enter the area. There are a restaurant in this area so you can relax and have some food and enjoy the waterfall."

Some other activities to do is diving, golf, go-kart, ATV, shooting range, paintball, elephant trekking, simon cabaret, submarine tour.

Also rent a car or motorbike and drive around and visit different places and beaches.

Muay Thai Boxing......

Club i used was on the road from kata to phuket town, just before the phuket shooting range, all 4 instructors are ex thailand champions, including one unbeaten.

You pay roughly 300 baht per session, and you can spar with them aswell for 15/20 mins. Also lots of bags, weights etc,and you can train for as little or as long as you want.

lol yeah Muay Thai And for sure Im going to go to the shooting range "this is whats known as getting your gun off.." BAMBAMBAM (bad dude, MI:2)

I'm thinking that I might end up in the same boat as you though Safeas

With the rafting/elephant trip I am unsure if it is white water rafting or just basically canoeing the river (that would be boring) I am pretty sure its the Krabi (sp) River. Anyone done the rafting and got a clearer idea?

trips to do

Fantasea is a must IMHO. They will tell you that no camera's are allowed but I encourage you to take one anyway. The only place they take the camera off you is inside the theatre, where the actual show is. However, there is much to see in the grounds of fantasea itself and cameras are fine here. All in all, I still find this place breathtaking (well worth the $50aus each we paid).

Simon's Caberet was roughly $25aus and to be honest sitting in the front row was a little too much for me. This was my first introduction to LB's so I can't really say I was prepared for what I was about to see. I found the costumes a little old but the show was entertaining enough...probably wouldn't go back for my front row seat but something worth seeing anyway.

The sea canoeing through the caves is something I wouldn't miss if you haven't done it. Simply an awesome experience that I cannot do justice with words. When we went through (sep 01) a storm came through and it was still 35 degrees (celsius). The rain was so hard I could hardly see my wife in front of me at the front of the canoe - cool relief it was. We had gone through the bat cave and it was like we were inside a wet volcano...awesome.

The other trips I'll post on later...maybe I'll try to be a little bit more brief too.
