Whats the real cost these days?

Hi Guys,
I'm sitting here trying to organise my 3rd TOD and was wondering how much other BM were paying to get to LOS.
I understand that prices for flight's fluctuate depending on seasons, but would like to hear some ballpark figures.
I'm quite fortunate to work in the hospitality industry in Oz and that allows me to utilise various discounted travel clubs. The last trip was a no brainer...it was a Gulf Air SYD-Singapore($450) and then Airasia Singapore-Phuket($165) for a total cost of $615 aussie dollars.
And before anyone asks...we had a 6 hour wait for connecting flight(only drawback)...
So if anyone has a super deal they have used and want to share their experiance...please let us know...I'm curious.

The $450 was $300 airfare and $150 tax..this was for departures upto 30 nov and max stays 35days and ex SYD only...we went early Nov 04. The great thing is I could take a friend for a second fare of $600 including tax.
At the moment we are planning mid FEB and the best I can get is $860 flying Brittish Air to either BKK or SIN . Thats alot more upfront and less to drink with
Thanks for the info Assie Dollar.
