Managed to get a last minute flight and accom sorted. Arrive in BKK on the 29th and Patong on New Year's Eve! result. Really thought I wasn't going to get hotels etc.

As maby some one noticed i´m going to Thai this winter .. i´m kind of happy about it even if i think the arrivale date could be sooner , i can feel that right now... Jan. 19

I have a "friend" who always talk about his trips around the world more then 10-15 years ago .. some time you don´t know if you can trust his "storie´s" ... he was talking about a trip to Thailand this winter .. i asked him if he had ticket´s resently .. no he said .. okay .. he wount get any eighter i thought hehehe

No the worse part .... he went looking for tickets yesterday and he leave´s Sweden to day , even it it´s just a 2 weeks trip i want to go to

Good stuff!! What hotel and airline did you have success with??

Thai Airlines - had to juggle the BBK to Phuket bit around - which is why I don't get there until New year's eve, flights to bangkok seem to be available but internal flights are rammed. And I'm staying at the Stoney Monday, where I think I got the last room. Tried about five hotels in Patong before I got in, ditto Bangkok - v.busy but got into the Landmark, which I gather is OK.
