World cup 2010
have just confirmed my next tour, 12 days in june to watch the world cup in LOS. me and the boys thought instead of spending $10,000 goin to south africa and probably getting nothing for it, we decided to spend $4,000 in patong and have many great memories . Just wondering if anyone else had the same idea, i know its usually a bit quiet that time of the year, with the cup on do you reckon it might be busier than normal?

the greatest fun was to watch the english guys faces getting red (but most still managed to keep it respectful and silent)
when the King popped up on every screen in the midst of the English game ...;-)
I believe to remember the footbal screen only came back after Beckham scored a free kick against Portugal...
(The Kings 60th anniversary on the throne at the time).

I'm confused about your forecast, you are aware that this is about the football/soccer WC? ;-)

yes i am aware that this is football world cup.. soccer... are you aware that any team in the group d.. germany , australia, serbia, ghana are capable off winning the group on the day... it is probably the toughest group in the competition.... it will be a very interesting group to watch.. the winner will probably face usa in the final 16, the runner up will probably face england... that is if england win there group and usa come 2nd...

yeah, you are right actually now thinking of it. Serbia, Ghana, USA and Australia have historically always been the toughest to beat in football WC's

Frank, you could be a bit more supportive to a nation who sponsors and trains the best of your national players and future bondscoach ;-)

Noooo... Louis van Gaal will never be Dutch Bondscoach again after he failed to qualify for the 2002 World Cup.
It is true we have now 5 players in the Bundesliga, which will go or may be going to South Africa. They now play in Germany in a "development aid" program by the Dutch gouvernment to lift German football.
You didn't hear about this?
