The Pie Guy
Has anybody met the large guy....about 60 odd....originally from the UK, then spent time in OZ, and has been living in LOS for the past 20/30 years now. He walks around the bars every night selling Cornish Pasties and Pies.....lovely old chap.
I would say a lot of BM's would have come accross him.

Yeah Mav Have seen him plenty of times in the sailor bar on beach road saturdays and sundays while the Aussie rules games are playing. He comes in with his esky sits down watches the game then when it is finished gets up and goes around trying to flog the pies and pasties telling everyone they are fresh out of the oven, lol yeah he has been sitting there during the game for near on two hours. Seems like a nice enough bloke though. See him every year.

Yes he's a real gent.
I am told that his pies are very tasty - but I don't know how they taste when you are sober!

he is a nice bloke, and his pies are great.problem is when you start on them you always want them.he makes them himself, and thats his way of making money.he told me he retired there on a very basic pension that pays the rent etc,the pie business gives him his spending money.but he is a top bloke who always comes and sits down for a chat with me.

Yeah I first met him when he owned a bar at the back of Tiger and now see him everywhere but I was always too busy or too pissed to ask what was in the eskies until Nicke told me. I think his name is Steve ? Like you all say a nice bloke. Speaking of walking landmarks whatever happened to the old lady who tried to sell you chewing gum all the time I have'nt seen her for a while( and No Mike I'm not missing Her !)

Cornish Pasties
Hard-on for hours? So hes selling THOSE Cornish pasties based on a recepie stolen by a major drugs company and later sold as Viagra or something.
The original recepie is best and is in part responible for keeping the Celts alive and reproducing in the UK.

Don't feel sorry. She has more money then you think. Her family brings her on motobike to Bangla every day with at least 20 boxes of chewinggum. She not have to work anymore, she's an addict.

Who will buy my pies. No one. Ok. give me another beer.
His name is David.
He's English but lived in Oz for many years. Aussies may recognize him as he appeared in a tv. advert there a few years ago. I can't remember what for.
He has lived in Phuket for about 4 years and previously owned the Bar Munich
in what is now Tiger. That was the bar in the corner next to the toilets.
He was married to a TG. until it all went p/shaped.
