Do they know it's xmas

Not to familiar with the Thai Customs or celebrations, I was thinking of surprising a couple of friends with xmas cards and a little gift( knowing fully that they will be blown away with recieving and mail from overseas and them appreciating the thought). So if i was to send xmas card to Thailand will they know what it is or is it not a normal custom....

Thailand is not a christian country. Xmas is only celebrated because of the falangs.

But i am sure they would still appreciate the thought.

The xmas decorations are really impressive around Bangkok every year. The city is lit up really nicely and the place looks great. I have to say for a non christian country they do a pretty good job, dare i say better than my own town back home.

Patong i dont think looks all that different.

The girl im staying with now is a thai and a christian. Very Unusual yes. When nicke at MTB met her, he said this was a first time he'd seen it too. Anyway we are both enjoying the lead up to christmas.
