Kata Beach and Kata Beach Resort
I have not heard how it fared - we left the morning of the disaster and had friends still there whom we have not heard from. Did the resort and the beach fare well? How about places like the Boathouse restaraunt?

Hi there,
I spoke to a friend in Kata by MSN about 2 hours ago. Kata is OK comparatively, as is Chalong Bay. the Boathouse not so good. I think one resort next to it is levelled. There is alot of info and photos on this forum. It seems not destroyed....

Anyone know about Tapkaew Bungalows at Kata Noi
I have real good friends at the Tapkaew Bungalows at the end of Kata Noi. My wife and I are very worried about them. Has anyone heard how things are there. Please let my know
