Any info on Ganesh... Beach Rd.
Would anyone have info on a young Thai lad, Ganesh aged 17, who ran a small stall selling shirts on the Beach Rd at the right hand entrance to Patong Villa Hotel. My daughter and Ganesh were very friendly and have been corresponding since we got home. She is very upset to think of what may have happened to him

Tee shirt vendor Patong Villa..Dawsey
dawsey...I dont think he used to start until about 9.00 am ..I was there in May for ten days and I always used to "rib" him about working "afternoon "shift... most of the little stores in the alley opened about 9.00 9.30am. I to hope every one is safe......and I hope Patong Villa survived as I enjoyed my stay with that hotel..."Molly"

its quire a concern for any1 that was on the beach or the road.the 2 lads that had a car rental business where i was meant to return my car are dead.took my passport with them, but my heart goes out to there family.i have not seen the lads that do the beach beds,i hope they are ok but i fear the worst.they where nice lads.i think looking at footage on the news here, anyone on the beach would of had a miracle to escape it.dawsey if you have a surname i can check the casualty list at the hospital,it only across road from tuktas house.

Thats very kind of you Steve. Strangley enough my daughter received a letter this morning from Ganish written on 10/12 and he has moved his workplace to G Armani, 5/20 Kata Noi Rd, Kata Beach.Hopefully Kata wasn't hit as badly as the Beach Rd in Patong. We have a telephone no but its a mobile which I understand are not working at present
076 333079 She has sent a text but had no reply yet. Unfortunately though, none of his letters mention his surname

076 is not a mobile, it is a fixed line. Those lines were not interupted, at least not in Surin, maybe in Patong. As I could not reach my old schoolmate on his mobile just after the wave, I contacted him on his home numder 076.
