I'm back home, but I've the LOS blue's
After a very difficult journey with Biman Bangladesh I'm finaly back in Holland after 36 hours (don't ever go with this company). AT my first day home I already miss Thailand. I had a very good time, specialy in Patong. MaiTai bar was a very nice bar to go to. I'll hope bussiness is a little bit back to normal(as far as you can speak of normal) after the disaster. It was very nice to meet some of the boardmembers by candlelight and only one table at MAiTAi, just 3 days after the waves hit. I had a very good time on Samui with very nice lady from your staf Nicke and I'll must thank you for wat you did for her(she e-mailed me). Hopefully I'm back in July or August. When my pictures are ready I will post a few on the board.
Thanks and till next time,
Raval

Hi AncientMariner,
I stayed in the Arena Guesthouse, it's somewhere in the middle of Soi Sansabai on the right side when you come from Bangla Rd. It's run by a very hospital Danisch man. Completely girl friendly. Very nice rooms that go for 1200 Bt/night in this period. Next time I try this one again. You can use a large swimmingpool thats just around the corner at the end of Soi Sansabai.
Greetings,
Raval

Just as i stepped of the Thai airways plane all i wanned to do was to run back inside and hide in there untill it was going back to Thailand again. You know it didnt feel like i was back in scandinavia before i went outside the plane, and felt how bloody cold it was (After having escaped the Tsunami all i was wearing was shorts and a tank top.)
After being to Thailand i realized that i dont realy like Sweden, not one bit. The only thing i would miss here if i would leave for Thailand would be my friends.

For me the only time I don't have the Thailand blues is when I am in Thailand. I hear what you are saying and I feel it too.
Everytime I get back from Thailand I am feeling down until I can get back there again. I work 3 jobs in Australia so I can get back to Thailand as often as possible so I can beat the Thailand blues.

Hate EM
I know this is an old thread but farg i hate the LOS blues. If it hasn't hit before i leave it has definiately hit when i land in OZ. Nothing wrong with my country but i just can not explain to people who do not have the addiction or the disease or what ever you want to call it, the desire to be in the LOS at all times. If any one offers a cure i would just smack em really fargin hard, gimme the synptoms!!
AH 5 days and no more blues.
Where is tha lottrey win.
NEARLY HAPPY!

Yes, post Los blues can hit you hard.
But....the fun of it is that you always plan "a next time" to look out for!
If I was living in Thailand, that would be something I was missing....
We are "lucky bastards" that we can go....back

A couple of weeks ago I started this thread. In the meantime I booked a new trip to LOS this summer. It surely is a little bit of a relief. But for me it was the first time I felt someting like this and I can't explain it to other people or to my friends, the just don't understand. I'm certain it has everything to do with the BG's or TG (maybe also something with the tsunami because I was present at that time), because for me last winter was the 5th time in LOS, but the first time (since my devorce) alone and all the other times I had no direct wish to go back at all. And yes I also met a very nice BG, we spent a little holiday in Samui, just after the Tsunami.Yes I count myself a lucky bastard, I think I will be able to go back 2 times a year.

Well I cannot talk for others, but I always have the feeling to LIVE in Los!
Not doing what you are supposed to do, but being free as a bird!
But it is Disney for the real children and Los for us!
I have the age where you are getting older without being a really old man.
I should be crazy if I still would not enjoy the years that I still can enjoy to be a little bit "crazy"

It was wednesdayevening 29th December. I remember you, Geir, Nicke, the TG's and someone else. Also nice to meet you. It's a shame indeed we didn't have a few more beers together, but since I am infected by the LOS virus this winter, there may be another opportunity. It was certainly not my last time in Patong.
Cheers,
Raval
