Is the world ending???
Hi,
I cant help but notice the terrible weather all over the world and right after this disaster it almost seems like the world has had enough even here in Ireland the winds are up to 100mph tonight and one truck driver was killed his lorry got pushed over a bridge with the force of the wind. I hear some parts of America are really bad too.
Do we really need to reconsider the fuels we burn? Or is it a message from the gods?
EDIT -> Just turned on the news five minutes later and its 3 dead now due to weather.

We even had hurricanes in Sweden, which is very rare.
7 people killed, and LOTS and LOTS of destruction across southern Sweden, we got another storm incoming tomorrow, dont know if it's gonna be as severe as the last one.
Oh and the temperature is 11 degreece above normal Januari temperature, which hasnt happend in 100 years.

I guess this planet is just getting back at us all. We have been taking from, and just depositing sooooo much garbage and junk back in it and into the atmosphere. It cant keep going on forever without some form of fallout.

yeah, I still remember the 97 summer in Stockholm was 30 C. Climate is changing because of our mis-use of fossil fuel. If not, those are signs that we are moving away from the warmer period of the Ice Age.

global heating is caused by co2 build-up in the atmosphere, this is disaterous,it took billions of years for the fossil fuels to collect in the earth--and we have burnt a large portion of it in 100 years or so--what does one expect?

Obviously we all need to increase our intake of beer as if I am not mistaken it is included in the recipe!

Even if increasing intake of beer doesnt work we will be so drunk that it will be forgotten about anyway.

Situation in Sweden now: After the Hurricane
7 People dead.
More then 100.000 without electricity. They think it's gonna take about 2-3 weeks to fix it.
The railways are blocked by fallen trees. Only a few trains are going as they normally do.
Lot's of houses and cars destroyed.
And now we are expecting another storm to arrive today.
