From the very depths......

These are some very strange occupants from the deepest depths of the Andaman Sea - they have only come to light because of the Tsunami.

The pages are in Russian but the pictures speak for themselves...

Check out the teeth on the Fangtooth and the Lizardfish. !!!

Fangtooth - This species occurs in bathypelagic and mesopelagic depths down to 4992m. It most common between 500m and 2000m, in temperate marine waters worldwide.

Damn! - I'm glad I've never dived deeper than 150meters!
