Phuket - How do you know a Thai girl's intensions?

Ok ill give you a scenario and then you can help me read the situation.

First of all, how do you know it's a prostitute or not? Do they talk about money right away or? I met a girl in a club in Bangkok and i were talking with her and she asked me if i wanned to go somewhere else and do something. Now when this is said pretty much anywhere but in Thailand you know where it leads, I mean in a western country you do not ask the girl if she's a nightlady then you'd prolly get a slap in the face and i would assume that it's the same thing here.

We had been sitting at a table for like 1.5 hours and i asked her if i could pay for her drinks but she said she had her own money which is another thing that a BG probably wouldnt say?

Im just not used to lady's being that straight forward, either way it kinda threw me off guard and i mean she was totaly gorgeous.

I realy hate myself for not going with her, but it was just so wierd. Besides i was there with my father which made it even more wierd hehe (ofcourse he was not sitting there with us he was sitting with my brother at another table)

Im realy not used to straight forward girls, kinds scares me. Is that typical in Thailand? or was she a nightlady? I know for sure she wasnt a ladyboy

I can´t answer that.. In a normal case if she asked you to go some were else.. se probl. was a ******... and was after not just cash 4 that night.. she wanted u 4 life or to send here cash. If not you were very lucky boy to get a free one night stand..

Some time they play this game with you and some times ppl get hooked.. But a girls asking you after 1,5 h to have sex.. it not in there culture.. man its not even the culture in sweden.

I would say it depends where in Bkk u met her.......if it was near Nana of Nana Hotel Disco etc, there is a strong possibility she was a FL...........but if it was not near the naughty bar scene she may have been ok ?

Some tg's who do not go with guys for cash, are just keen to meet farangs who can offer them the hope of a future that may just involve security and lots of $$$$......their other option is a Thai guy who probably earns about USD$200 per month.....therefore you don't need a calculator as to why she may have been interested.

So did you get her phone number ?

I did get her phone nr, tho i havent called. It just feels bad, i dunno why. Seeing how it is, most of the girls in Thailand are quite poor and looking for a rich guy to marry and provide their whole family. But this girl was different in some way. It's realy hard to explain, i mean she didnt seem poor, not at all and it was an upscale club and she paid for herself even though i asked her if i could buy her drinks. Her english was great and she seemed to be realy smart, we were speaking alot about Europe and she knew more about it then i did.

I couldnt ask her what she was doing for a living, it just felt wrong, what if she realy was an upscale nightlady, would have been quite embarassasing for me. Im 22 it's too early for me to be a sugardaddy

She was a ****** of one kind or another.. Perhaps she wanted to reel you in first and then hit you with the bigger score but thats the game..

The chances of meeting an indepentant 'good' thai girl (I only use that term as a saying.. I think they are all great) as a tourist (without speaking some Thai and being in the Thai social scene) who would then be keen to go with you on a first night, even making the first moves are just so slim as to be non existant..

She sounds like a piece of work.. you can PM me her number any time you like

'When you are handsome, young and good-looking, maybe she just wanted to taste something different after everyday fat ugly falangs. It is like a good sunday steak after each day fastfood. Hope she did enjoy it.

Ok, all different answers which kinda leaves me with the conclusion that Thai girls are impossible to read, in most cases.

It's easy: just talk with her!
If she says that she's working: Yes, it's a prostitute operating in freelance. From that point, you can go straight to a business oriented conversation
If she says that she's on holidays: she's either a freebie or a normal thai girl not interested. That situation is more complex so you'll have to continue a soft conversation and let the charm act. But remember that thai girls on holidays in farang nightspots are in 80% of the times freebies looking for a ST/LT partner.

If that girl wa so pretty I wouldn't mind if she was a ****** or not!

What would interest me if she would go to bed with me! And I would ask it a decent way, if she would be interested to come back to my room!

If she does this doesn't mean she is one. There are girls in Bangkok, looking for some farang co*ck, for different reasons!

Once you have done with her, you can ask if it is the first time with "farang"!

She will let you know quickly then if she is a pro, because if she says no, it will be difficult for her to get some money!

it can also be a Thai girl looking for excitement, one looking for a farang to marry, but my bet is FL.

Ok guys, I got back a couple of weeks ago. Spent the first couple of nights in BKK. I went with my bro to the Q Bar as i heard about it on here and took a look at the website. Not being a big ego freak here, just telling my story. I am in my late 20's and by most accounts a pretty decent looking guy(okay ugly as sh*t).. Lots of thai girls there and i was having a great time. Some of the girls i knew were working girls and others i wasnt so sure. About 10 minutes til close i spotted a gorgeous thai girl. At that point i didnt care if she was a working girl or not. What is $25-40 anyway. I walked up to her and introduced myself blah blah blah. Turns out, this girl was definitely NOT a working girl. I hung out with her for an hour or so and things went well, and i definitely got a freebie from a non-working girl. She specifically told me she was not a working girl and she knew she would not see me again as i told her i was heading to Phuket the next day.
She was incredible and i had a blast with her. I do have phone # and email, but havent kept in contact.

Just saying that there are some girls who are not working. In that environment anyway. Any of you guys who have not been to the Q Bar should definitely check it out.

i was in bkk last week and stayed a few nights at the "miami".
i was having a beer outside my room about 1am. a girl walked past i said hi to her and asked where she was going. she said she was babysitting for a swedish couple who were in a few rooms down from me.
anyway,i asked her if she would like to come to my room when she finished. about 30 mins later she knocked on my door, came in, got in shower then into my bed. i wasnt sure if she was a ****** or not. but in the morning she showered , put her clothes on and said goodbye!! no money exchanged!!! hahahah!! was great!

i totally agree with kilmer2, these kind of things do happen in BKK. similar thing happened to me, still hanging out with that girl. i actually think there are quite a few girls like this in BKK. they travelled a lot, know the world, can pay for theirself, why shouldn't they look for an attractive looking guy just to hang out and have fun with like girls in europe do as well?
