Info sought Phuket to Pattaya..how to get there
Can anyone assist in a bit of info on how to get to Pattaya from Patong and what the average costs might be by air or bus etc...cheers thanks in advance.
I was thinking of going up for 2 days from Patong

Fly BKK anything from 1250 - 2700 depending on airline and advance booking or specials..
Minibus to private taxi can be anything from 250 or so in a group to 1200 private (dont know max price always had own wheel or shared)..

It will cost you about 2600bt each if you fly direct to pattaya and double that if you want to return to phuket.

ive done it twiice in the last week. its 2600baht. when you get to the airport, dont expect a taxi, there isnt any to be found. you take a bus for 150baht. it stops in jomtien before pattaya. the airport is about 40minutes from pattya, so with the bus stoppiong, will take about 1hr to get to pattaya from airport
