Back from first trip to LOS

Back in the UK after 8 days in Patong (way too short a time, so going back for two weeks on Feb 13th). What can I say? A hell of a place. The Ban Yan Dee is a fine hotel and very guest friendly (on my second night I hooked up with a BG from Soi Eric who then stayed with me at the hotel for six days; the hotel could not have treated her better, and no joining fee or such like nonesense.). Only downsides were a tearful and wrenching goodbye to my BG at Phuket airport, and forgeting I was driving an automatic, stamping on the throttle and brake at the same time and spinning a Honda Jazz on the main north-south road on the trip in from the airport - yeeeehhaaaaarr - luckily late at night, so no other traffic or plod around to witness the dramatics.

Counting down the days to seeing my BG again. Staying at the Allamanda Laguna this time - they have some good deals on at the moment, and the suites look good for 'staying in' more of the time and a little more private than a regular hotel.

I that the Baan Yin Dee Boutique Resort? At THB 6-8000 pn I'd expect them to not only be girl friendly, but to provide the girl and pay for follow-up visits to the clap doctor...

Glad you enjoyed though,

K.

Yup, that's the one. It is pretty expensive, but the rooms are great, as is the food, plus is has two pools etc, so I'd say pretty decent value.

Well, can't argue with that: a room with two pools in it would be worth the money...
