C&N HOTEL IN FEBRUARY

I just got quoted 900 baht per night for 5 nights 11th to 16th February. Is that the going price around this time of year? Has anybody got anything cheaper?
If not I will confirm the booking.

I think that sounds about right, I got quoted 800bt for 17nights in april even though I mentioned that I stayed there last july, But another BM (Zeaker) said he got quoted 600bt for nearly the same dates as me

I would say if you just walk in, You would get a better deal because I cannot see it being full in feb....

I know it's hassle, but why not leave it until you get there and try to negotiate a good rate in person. Don't forget that at the moment a "cash deal" would be very much to your advantage i.e. pay cash and not with a credit card. I can only assume that cashflow is tight in hotels and they might welcome this. I have just negotiated a good rate at a guesthouse in April for 3 weeks and the offer of paying in cash saw the deal improve in terms of price and what it included !!

Good luck
Diz

I booked a double room for 800 baht per night. But I guess it also has to do with how long you plan to stay there. I have booked 14 nights.
So I gues 900 for a few nights is a good deal...but who am I.

Do you reckon C&N will still be charging 900 Baht/night in April for Songkran?? And do you think I will need to book in advance or just turn up and get a room no problem - have no idea how busy Patong usually is for this time of year? Any help would be appreciated.

You lucky Bastard Ill see you there for a few black deaths

Darma, I think you should email first and find out what price they will give you, It all depends how long your staying, Im staying there 17nights and was given a price of 800bt, And Zeaker is staying there for 34nights and he got a price of 600bt so the price vary's depending on lenght of stay, I think you would be better off making a reservation as I would say its going to be very busy at songkran.
