I`m a relative newbie to the whole bg scene,and gotta say I was caught way unaware on first trip.Have since wised up a little but it seems like any asian culture the more you learn the more you realize you`ve no idea whats going on.... I spent my first 2 weeks with one girl,except for one night but that was just a good nights sleep as she wouldn`t give bj and there was some nasty scab or "something" downstairs and I thought it best not to investigate.......big bompem i thought..
anyway without boring all bm`s I went up to isaan with this girl ,met her parents gave him some smokes and whiskey,I just wanted to explore the place and I`d fallen for her charms.they were rapt to meet me i think,took me on a tour the whole bit........
looking back i think i was not clear enough with this girl.I was last there in sep 04 and since then just the odd phone call and sms,no emails from her and I sent her 3000 baht after tsunami as she say "no customer" I was happy to give to her .............
the thing is i`m looking to go back to patong around may and although i`m keen to say hi and even a boom boom,I don`t want the gfe with her again,a butterfly is what i want to be.......with the loss of face issue,
if i was back on the scene with other girls would that be a big bompem for her "face",suppose you could say i go there relax not have issues with jealous or even crazy people,as I said I`m wiser to the whole scene now and while not being a victim I did fall for her and the whole thing...........she seemed pissed off a month or so ago when she phoned me and asked if i sleeping alone I said no I have boom boom with farang girl.............
would that anger be multiplied should i be dancing away in some bar in patong and she wanders by?????
hope all this wasn`t too long winded,any advice would be appreciated,

ps :if i knew about this forum and most other thailand facts before my first trip well i wouldn`t be asking these questions

Be honest and tell her you want to be a butterfly if you see her. Dont complicate things with lies.

Other advices regarding Thai girls;

Never promise anything if you cant keep it. They can get really upset for broken promises. I would also recommend you dont say "I love you" and such things, if you dont really mean it and want to stay with her for a long time.
When you meet girls, be honest and say you are a butterfly if you intend to see many girls, it makes things easier for you at the end and it is more a business relationship. The girls will be happy to be your friend or stay with you even if you are a butterfly. But if they think you love them and they are the only one for you then there will be problem when you want to see other girls.

But the most important one is never promise anything, regarding now or in the future.

Hi BMs - my personal opinion is that's the same with farang girls/ladies (at least what concerns Estonian ladies...IMHO)
