Advice On Hotel In Bangkok
Guys,
I'm flying into Bangkok next SAT and would like some tips on good hotels close to markets and nightlife....
Only stayed there once before for one night in the tallest hotel(can't remember name)...but found the local area a little boring.
Staying there for two nights before coming down to LOS for 3 weeks...
Any tips would be good.

I think Sukhumvit area is the best place to stay in Bkk, close to action, also
easy just use the skytrain or subway to move around.
A lot serviced apartments and hotels.

Depends on price range. I stay at Marriott. It's great but expensive. On priceline can be gotten for $90 nite with tax. Dynasty Inn or Nana Hotel are OK and it's only $25 nite at Dyansty. I've stayed at both, and the location can't be beat. Both are girl friendly.

I like the Mandarin hotel. The location is good and I found the hotel to be really nice.

Good hotel according to me and not to far from the nightlife.

Only pain in the **** is the joiner fee, so you better book a double room.

Agreed, I have used Dynasty and was fine, staff friendly.
Have not used Nanna hotel.
What you don’t spend on rooms is more for P&P (piss and pussy), but I won’t stay in a shit hole, around 1,000 ish a night is enough for me.
Might bump into ya in Phuket next month.

Nana is around 1000, Nana Plaza across the road and the Angels disco in the back, with the added bonus of loads of FLs hanging out in the car park. Not the place to take the wife, but paradise found for a man on a mission..

I staid at Tawana Ramada, about 1 min walk from Patpong and a very nice hotel with some great staff, and the breakfast yum yum.
*Im not exactly sure what it cost, but it sure was alot cheaper then the hotel i was staying at in Phuket.

Honey Hotel off of Sukhumvit on Soi 19. Rates are reasonable and clean. Decent restaurant. And it's walking distance to the Soi Cowboy.

Try the Grand President; you must specify Tower I or II. Tower 3 sucks.
