Last year I was in LOS 3 times over a 10 week period so never got to realise that there was such a thing as post-los blues until returning home after last trip.

Thats when I found out about this forum having spent a boring night at work searching thru' internet for anything that would revive my memories of LOS.

So,have most BM's joined this forum before going or after returning?I am sure that if I knew about this forum prior to my first visit I would probably have saved myself a lot of hassle/money ,but then again maybe thats the fun of first time visit learning from experience/mistakes.

I Stumbled On It In Nov 2003............but At That Stage I Had Been To Los Many Times..............

it was when the LOS blues sank in after spent the best time of my life i had some internet searches about thailand.. and mainly about phuket.. for info and planning the next trip there.

now i must check in here every day if possible to see if theres some news or stories..

but got badly first-time-hassled i guess and spended way to much money as what i now read other bm's do

so this forum is going to save money for me next time thanks to its bordmembers

I too suffered the Thai Blues and joined after returning in Jan'05 from my second visit.
Back in March can't wait and I will be visiting the Mai Thai Bar coz Ive never been.

i was surfing around and luckily came across this site, i used to visit pattaya a lot but i got fed up with the place
it now attracts the "people" who used to go to spain /ibetha--hope that doesnt happen to phuket

Ive only just joined this forum
and iam so glad I did . ive also made the same mistakes as 99% of us have done when we were los virgins
ive been going since 1997. Been about 10 or 12 times up until now
Next visit will be this August and I no 10 times more than I have the previous times ive been and its all down to the knowledge of you lot on here
also made some new friends

I stumbled this site a few days before my second LOS trip. Primarily interested because lots of interesting info. Now... been visiting this site dozens of time everyday ... it's addictive. Been missing LOS dreadfully that it's getting harder to fight the urge from every fibre in my body to take the next flight to Phuket. All my friends think I need a shrink.

Luckily I found this site before my first trip last November, and I'm very grateful for it. It not only helped me prepare and not make the stupid mistakes I would have made, it also put me at ease about my choice of hotels.

found it on google search before last trip.
have been to LOS a few times before last trip.
its great for getting answers on anything phuket,lively debate,sharing of info.
makes your trip a know before you go guest friendly etc.
also gives you a link back to LOS after returning (sometimes not a good thing with LOS blues).

Found it by accident after my second visit and made a point of visiting Nicke and the MTB and same as every body else been here since. I don't actually get post LOS blues as I'm always planning my next visit and that will happen very soon !

i found it by accident, and went by and said hello my second visit but felt weird, so only went once. my 3rd visit, i spent alo0t of time there, and now i know everyone. and ive met some of the niocest people. just this week, i needed to get a permit to have my dog travel through hong kong when i go net week, and it neeeded to be rushed. ancientmariner went and got the permit and is fedexing it too me. livinlos will help you with any question you need around the island. and irish johnny and mikgb will bust your nuts anytime you want. great people

Found this site by accident last year lucky it was just before my trip managed to meet up with Nicke and Ead also a few BM's had a few solid nights with Bafana & the Yank I think it's good to have a base to establish new friends etc.

I stumbled across this site before my first trip when I was looking for the best places to go, And of course to find out how much you pay the girls and how it all works, And I would say it has saved me a fortune and on top of that I got to meet up with so many interesting people and a few friends through this forum which if im honest I would not normally socialise with back home, So I am really glad I found it before I went.

Random google searching, have never been to phuket and im not sure if I will be going during my next trip but its Thailand chat and it keeps the excitement running through me while working !

Cant see myself holidaying anywhere else for quite sometime.

I only found this site from a link to the picture section that BM's posted days after the disaster.

I come back from time to time to keep up on what's happening over there.

At the moment i have the post LOS Blues and i'm trying to plan another trip in the spring, my plans for mid March fell through so i'm trying to plan for mid April.

Looking forward to seeing all the great sites (bars ladies beach etc) real soon

Like a lot of members,as soon as I had decided on my first trip to LOS, I wanted to know more about the place I was going to visit.I found this forum on a Google search,read some of the posts and decided to join.I got a lot of helpful advise and information here,and after going,drinking at MTB and meeting other BMs I was hooked on all things LOS. I like to keep coming to the forum as I made new friends in Phuket,its a great way of keeping in touch ,and its nice to pass on info for those perhaps making a first trip to LOS. Its one of the best things I have done and thanks to Nicke,and all BMs, for running and keeping this great forum going.

Found forum after a web search and joined back in Oct 2004 and just realised this is my first post.I guess you guys keep asking the right questions so I don't need to. Anyways found the forum excellent for info after a lightning tour back in july which left me a bit shellshocked. Was back in LOS for Xmas and "The Big Wave" (actually slept through it in The Bel Aire Mansion) stayed 5 weeks in all and have had serious problems after returning home.You guys and this forum are keeping me sane.

i found this forum before my last trip on a google search, trying to find out about BG/TG. this was about six weeks ago.
i'm in LOS now until April 4th, and even if i don't have plans to go to phuket (yet...), i have been here almost every day. it just helps me with so many decisions, read about the bastard rule 101 (thanks to JayBee, marc and others) and found out for myself that this is the way to go, at least right now.
