the tsunami appeal in the uk officially closes at midnight tonight,final figure raised by british public is £300 million.in only 2 monthes thats very good,now i just hope it reaches the right people quickly.

I understand that the Brit's also broke the world record for the most money ever donated in a 24hr period. 10 million.

As has been rightly said here though, it means nothing if it gets chewed up by admin costs or greed elsewhere, let's hope it goes where it is needed.

Its not a competition boys, But if were going down that road, Here in little auld Ireland we gave more per head than any country in the world

But seriously lets hope the right people get the money, And hopefully this can give them a little help to rebuild there lifes, Also lets hope the goverments in every country follow through with there pledges which has not always happened in the past
