mostly the 13th but celebrations last from 1 day to 3 weeks depending on the town.

Sat Jul 23* Khao Phansa Day (Buddhist Lent). Bars shut.
Fri Jul 1 Mid Year Bank Holiday. Bars open.
Fri Aug 12 HM The Queen's Birthday. Bars probably shut.
Sun Oct 23 Chulalongkorn Day. Bars probably open.
Tue Nov 15 Loi Krathong. Bars open.
Mon Dec 5 HM The King's Birthday. Bars shut.
Sat Dec 10 Constitution Day. Bars open.

Do you think it will be crowded around this time at Pattaya?? I am coming over around 12th of April and have not booked sth...I was thinking the Sandy Spring but then I read about some construction over there..

Where did you read about construction work? I am suppose to be staying there the 24th of april but if there is construction work going on there I might have to change to the garden residence instead.

By the way you would want to book something as soon as you can because it will be extremely busy around this time, And all the good places will be fully booked soon if not already.
