What options do I have???

This summer I go to LOS, but I extend the 30 days in Thailand for 15 minutes due to arrival and departure times of the planes (30 days and 15 minutes) if the plane back home leaves in time. So according to the rules I must buy me a visa. Is there a way in which case I don't have to buy a visa? Under no circumstances I want to have trouble with customs.

Any advice????

Cheers,

Raval

If it's just one or two days you are overstaying, then you can:
a) Ask for an extention upon arrival before they stamp your passport, or
b) Drop by the immigration office in Patong (if it's still there?) and get it sorted a couple of days before it expires.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it's just a few days overstay, you should have no problem passing immigration at the airport, as long as you can pay the fine. If on the other hand you overstay for five days or more, they might pull you aside and ask you a few questions before they let you pay and pass.

overstay

I say they wouldht worrie to much about 15 mins, but 2 days,... Id like to keep my passport clean so I think Id get it extended.
Its simple Id did it 2 years ago, just go to the immigration office in phuket town, you need 2 passport sized photos and 500 baht.
You can get the photos taken at the immigration office for 100baht.
It all takes about 30 mins. Get there about 10 am.
Then your got no worries. remember to take your airline ticket with you.
The office is shown on any map of phuket town.

Your stamp will have two dates on it.

Admitted and Until

There is no time written in so as long as your leaving on the date that says until you wont have a problem.
