tailors in kata beach

Can anyone recommend a tailor at kata beach ?

Looks like around 3000 baht for a suit, shirt & tie advertised price.
Is this good value here or should you still barter .....to what price ?

Thanks folks for any info

Casa di Moda. In front of Peach Hill hotel. On the left side. Downhill entrance because PH. has downhill and uphill. Go there for several years. Good quality and no rip off.

thanks

All tailors here roughly same price - 3000 bht.

Interesting reading those links - so price appears
excellent without checking material at this price.

Special thx to Diver69 - will go there for suit.

Thai Suits.

The problem is when in LOS do you want to be treking back and forth to the tailor for fittings and 2nd the suits aren't that great.

The one thing that I thought was hilarious is you will see tailors with labels like Armani or Gucci on really bad suits in the window of their shop.

Usually in western countries they will have sales on good suits I honestly think you're better off paying a bit extra and getting one in your own country, I managed to get a nice Hugo Boss when I was in Australia last time for a reasonable price.

Depends how much time and effort you put in..

I have a Brother in law that has to be booted and suited daily.. needs 5 - 10 working suits at any one point.. He has a regular tailor in BKK and never tries to go too cheap.. Will often pay up to 8k baht for a good material single suit..

You spend 3k and (IMHO) you will get a crappy material and crappy suit.. spend 200 USD or so and you get something that would be up to around 1k Euro's back home.. if he buys five suits on a visit he really makes some savings..

Hopefully I wont every have to put one of those ****ers on as long as I live..
