Lets make phuket great once more,the tsunami warning system works,phuket untouched,hopefully the events of the last few months are now behind us,and tsunami warning will become part of living in thailand.

No change in plans on my part. If there were a Tsunami, at most it would only force me to stay with the Thai wife's relatives south of Phuket Town (or in a Phuket Town Hotel) instead of staying in a Hotel in Patong Beach (which is my preference).

As you probably already knows there was a new earthquake, last night that made my bed sway quite a bit, so I wouldn't say that the Tsunami scare is gone yet!

Considering what we all get up to over there I think the worry or thought of a possible natural disaster wont change anyones plans. Well not the BM's and others I've met.

We will still be coming as you would expect all the Bm's to do, But just another thing the thai's dont need for all those tourists that were just starting to feel confident about returning now this. I will be trying to convince all those that will listen everything should be fine but I expect that there will still be people cancelling. counting down till arrival 9th June getting closer waiting still hard, the only thing I worry about is that it all goes so quick once we are there, but if thats all I have to worry about then I am a happy man!

It hasn't put me off, you can't go around and avoid the possibility that "it might happen" !! If you did, then you'd never go anywhere !!

11 days to go, almost down to counting the hours !!
