no sxygirl in LOS.......
Hey guys, sad, sad, sad news......the US state dept. and US embassy have issued severe travel warnings for Americans to not go anywhere near thailand because of the terrorist stuff, i guess they are primarily targeting americans?? Anyways, my travel agent called us today and told us about it, she is losing a huge commission but she still said that we would be very stupid to go. It has been all over Fox news here in the states and i guess it is very serious because i am getting full cash refunds from the airlines on two very expensive NON-refundable tickets "due to circumstance" so......we are going to shoot for December. I hope everyone else has a safe trip and i hope to see u guys in December. I Am sooooooooo sad!!!!!!!!!

They are targeting fat ugly farang women. They wait for them outside of Mc Donalds and follow them and the Big Macs they are cramming down their throats. It seems that the terrorists are targeting only fat ugly farang women, they are extremists and believe they should be wearing a full Burka style viel (Taliban approved)
 to shield the the rest of us from having this sight thrust upon ourselves. The media fails to mention that US. males are also in danger (In danger of losing little brown drink vouchers at the bars) (In danger of finding out what they have been missing)My advice is to go to Hawaii or Guam. More chance of being run over back home.. statistaically its a joke.. The fact that Faux news says it makes it even more laughable.. I have seen no new warnings regarding Phuket (the deep south has had the same non essential travel warnings) recently and nothing on CNN etc.. You really are letting your fears ghet the better of you and loosing a great chance for a holiday.. However as they say.. Up to you..

Thailand isnt even listed with a current travel warning.. Certainly not high risk (though concern is perhaps valid) and now makes me suspicious of the whole thread.. Travel agents rushing to return tickets when no new advisory is posted.. Are you sure thats the reason your not coming H ??

I am not doubting or contradicting you SXYGIRL but I cant find anything on the state dept website about a warning specifically on Thailand. These links and information I am only getting from the site which states, "This information is current as of today, Sat Apr 09 22:00:58 2005. Thailand " http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_p...w/tw_1764.html http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_p.../cis_1040.html Maybe it is not updated on the website yet for some reason but that said it was current as at Sat Apr 09 22:00:58 2005. I know our governments website seem to take a while to update. Anyway to bad for you I suppose.

It's hard to believe some of the propaganda that comes out of the good ole US I remember talking to some guys from the states when the whole Iraq thing was going on and they said that the media we get here is totally different from what they were getting back home, go figure.

Yes there is a sxygirl in Las Vegas, (and is hot) I can verify that. She has concerns and in her mind they a valid enough for her to stay home this trip. LOS will be missing a real beauty from Am. but there are plenty of Thai beauties around. Look for her in Dec. (unless I can talk her into going now)

I am not in any way trying to pretend I know who or what she looks like. or who she is (physically or personality wise) however.. H, exchanged a fair bit of mail trying to locate old friends (through multiple boards and ways when she was convinced her BF was screwing with her comp).. none of anything she told me about the girls she was looking for came up false (they were there and did exist) and if there is some kind of windup then let me state for the record I am hook, line, sinker, rod, reel, and copy of angling times..
I have no vested interest in sxygrl at all.. I have no real interest (other than curiosity) in getting in her or her GF's pants (to be honest Britney is not one of my fantasies though if Cameron can keep a clean complexion she wouldnt get thrown out for.. etc).. this town is too easy for long termers for pussy to effect judgement.. Ramster has 30+ posts and if he is a shrill / puppet then its far to well concieved.. Me I still go with the idea that she is a young american girl that get concerned about every fear that out there.. The world outside of the lower 48 is big and scary.. Its her loss (considering her sexuality) rather than ours.. Fear of a chance smaller than a high school shooting has stopped her having the tour she wanted.. Then again I suspect it may be more to do with her GF backing out, or other reasons yet undefined than some 'travel advisory' that has not surfaced through any legit source...

Why are u guys saying these things about me?? i thought u were my friends...i guess i was the one who was fooled. Im just trying to use better judgement for once than i have in the past and i also dont want to put my best friend who trusts me in a bad situation. The things u r saying r very hurtful and untrue "oh sexy girl is a dude" etc. why would u say that stuff??? why dont u just ask ramster or have nicke look at our IP addresses if u think that we are the same person?? why dont u look at his pics. ??? he is a guy and havent u all met him already at mtb??? i dont understand why u would all turn on me like this, just because i got scared about what appears to be a valid warning here in the US. I guess i was dumb to think u guys were really nice people and didnt deserve some of the stuff that euro girl was saying to you....obviously this is not a fair or kind group to be chatting with (except for livinlos, sort of). u guys really hurt my feelings.

We used to have this user alias dude who would masquerade under many different personas creating allot of problems on this board I guess you're not the only one who's paranoid.
If you had any reservations you simply had to ask any BM who lives there regarding the situation, personally I think you have been over cautious and since you hyped up your arrival so much you have to expect a bit of fallout.
