Also having to bribe the police when your riding a bike without a license.

In Cambodia you have to bribe the coppers, for nothing at all, just to let you go!

I dislike all men who drink too much and act in an ungentlemanly or boorish manner. I hate all men who carry themselves with extreme aggression, whether it's caused by excessive alcohol intake or not.
You get more of this type of behaviour in LOS IMHO.

I think my only pet 'hate' in LOS is when a thai person talks some english, and gets it wrong , like trying to say the word 'problem'. We listen, and realise what they have said even though it is wrong.

Then, if YOU say some thai, and it is close , but not correct, they just stare at you until you get it correct

Thats about as bad as it gets for me.

Oh, and tuk tuk drivers that clap their hands and shout at you...

only mild dislike in patong is when the cruise ship comes in,i'm usually to be found in komma bar in the day time and thats where all the fume belching fecking massive coaches pick up all the sheep,sorry tourists,it really ruins my afternoon warm up session on the ice cold heinikens served in frozen glasses..........drool.......

Its hard to find much fault with Phuket,but I suppose being honked by every tuk tuk that passes gets irritating.If I want a tuk tuk I'll go to them

The row of outdoor restaurants next to Two Black Sheep that won't take no for an answer when you say you are eating elsewhere ,and the price increase asked by tuk tuks when the rain starts.

I remember the 1st time I hired a bike in patong, I kept thinking i was about to crash into those little red mean machines as they always seem to honk just as they are parallel with you on the opposite side of the road.

If you don't notice there are they or behind you for that matter it can really make you poo your pants.

Took me a long time to get used to their ways.

Another rant is that if you are behind them they regularly stop dead in front of you without warning and with no regard for what is behind.

I took a tuk-tuk home last night, agreed the 100 baht, but told him that I would deduct 10 baht for every time he honked his horn. Should have seen the look on his face when we got back to the hotel and I told him that he owed me 20 baht. Don't worry, I did pay him his fare - I have already got someone else threatening to cut off my willy and feed it to a soi dog; I don't need any more enemies

Okay i´m no Expat but what really get´s me mad is when i meet Farang (i try to avoid them

) who try to tell me where i should go to get the best massage , puzzy , soapie , best bg´s , the best gogo´s or what ever , they tell me how great thing are compared to home and that they will move to LOS and live there for ever!

When i ask them how long time they been in LOS they say it´s there first time and they came yesterday or the same week

I find the good things in LOS so out number the bad, that I can only come up with one.

The dogs.....there all got lead deficiency.

That's just the negative side, If you were in pattaya you will find that once the US Forces return to barracks/ship (Cinderalla syndrome) that you can find many stunners around Walking St that can be picked up for a bargain price.

Especially a good deal of they happen to an Agogo stunner who may charge 2000 baht L/T if you barfine her from the club, many of these from what i'm told easily go fo 1000 L/T & of course you don't pay the barfine either.

Get confused.. Start process again.. Or the company people deciding to pay 10 employees on the friday via an ATM even with a queue behind them (takes 20 mons) GO AND SEE THE TELLER !!!!!!

Lets not even get into punctuality.. Professionlism in a job well done.. anyone taking responsibility for anything whatsoever..

And having just got back from Ranong today... VISA RUNS..

oh and agreed with everyone on Tuk-Tuks. I have actually been honked at and asked if I want a Tuk-Tuk AS I LOCK MY CAR DOOR!
