Hello guys!

Let's introduce my self as a new board member. I'm a lady 30something, mom of five going to have a lot of fun, as my girls are nearly growng up now.

Only 24 days left until we leave to LOS (my fourth time), arriving at phuket at 26.5.
So were can a lady take out her man to let him have fun, see nice ladies, dance, drink and enjoy hisself (and of course myself too....). Got no problems in spending some "ladydrinks", as it is sure that I take him home with me

.

We stay at Kata Noi beach, are there any nice places "to spend a night out" or do we have to go for Patong?

Welcome to the board. Patong is definitely the center of the action. Kata and Karon have only a very small bar scene. It is also nice sometimes when you want to take it easy.
But for action - Patong.

For your husband the scene is better in patong...

Kata is more "family-orientated" and there is more to do in Patong!

But there is is Bar-area in Kata too, I am not very found of it, prefer the athmosphere in "Soi Eric", especially MT-bar! I sugest, you first go there, and have a talk with Nicke and the bm's!

The area in Kata is when you take the road to the "club Med" on your left, leaving the main village! Again, do not like the athmosphere there so much.

The advantage in Patong is that you also can go somewhere to hear a band playing, there are dancings and all kinds of entertainement!

Note Phuket is not the best place for go-go's! There are some, but poor compared to Bangkok.

Thanks for the fast reply... I'm not ready with "surfing aroun" an already the first answers. Hope we didn't make a wrong choice with our hotel. We stay at Kata Thani Resort (need some luxury in holiday...) as we are looking for a relaxing area... with not that much of children (as we got them at home).

My darling isn't yet my husband... having fun with each other and care needs no contract, I think.

Are there any problems if we go to MTB as a couple? I'm true, I like to look at some nice ladies,too, I also like to have some beers with nice peoples having fun.And as I'm reading a bit here, watching pictures I think I/we would like it there. Are the girls mad about a guy taking his "farang lady" with him?

It will be no problem for you to join your "husband" in the beerbars. I think you will have a lot of fun, espessially if you go to Nickes bar and introduce yourself. Will be alot of people there to give you answers to your question, not to mention that Nicke is a superb host.

Dont miss out Geespots,Stevems and Geirs bars either. Guess that those BM`s who is there can follow you around to show you.

Hello and welcome to the Board.
Kata is a very nice Place to stay, the Kata Thani is right on the Beach and you will have nice Sunset. It is in working distance to Kata, just over the Hill. In front are also TUK TUK aviable. – 50 Bath to Kata.
In Kata is also are Barscence, but not so offensive as in Patong.
I recommend Red Rose Bar – Pool , Dart and Games, there are also so nice new Bar’s close to Kata Noi Beach.
If you like Massage I recommend the Massage Lady’s right art the Beach entrance to Club Med.
For your Clildren Kata has a Minigolf course in the Center – Dino Park – very good made.

I'm sure we'll show up at MTB. Anyone around there End of May? Would be nice to meet someone for a beer. I can't wait to get there... counting the days.

And... of course we don't have our childrens with us... first time on holiday without them for four years.

hi alavire, you will have no problem as a couple!
when i was there last december there were lots of couples who were enjoying the atmosphere in patong, the best place in patong to party is bangla road ,there are lots of side roads leading off of bangla road, these eare called "soi,s"
soi eric is the place to find the mai tai bar ,its on the right hand side as you walk through soi eric,,there is a map on this site so u can find your way! have fun!--(if you do a search ,"map of patong" you can find a map also)

Kata Noi, even 18 years after my first beach experience, is still my favourite beach in Phuket.

Sadly the restaurant where I spent so many happy hours on the beach is long gone, it was where the beach pool of Kata Thani Buri Beach Resort is now.

Now, surely you should treat him to just one little dabble with a TG....? (j/k, you may never get him back)

I'm sure, that I take him home again... am I really. I think so, as he likes a special kind of woman, I know I am.

And even, after three years ... still having fun with each other, there must be more than a "nice little thai girl" to keep him away from me (and my bed).

I have just returned after a second trip with my wife and two children.Fear not,Patong is great for couples and families as well as single people.Just go to Mai Thai in Soi Eric after 9 30/10pm and ask for Nicke.Introduce yourself and you will be guaranteed a warm welcome.Trust me.
