Hello all

I dabble in the uk sell 2 or 3 bits a week makes about £50 which is fcuk all just pays fora few beers and a curry
but i understand you can get locked up and find up to 800,000 b
or get a few years if caught selling counter fit goods i.e. computer software
cloths watches etc .also how about posting back to the uk or Europe
I bet it takes ages to receive anything

I was kicked of ebay last week for selling stuff I got from los

only the loss of your ebay account..

Problem is postage adds a lot to costs and takes ages.. unhappy customers.. Lost packages..

Thaivisa has a few ebay threads..

Was the stuff you were selling from Thailand on ebay counterfeit goods.
If you try to sell hookey brand names then you will lose your account.
Simply open another and create a new email address if you want to continue selling UK gear.

Two americans and 2 asian guys living in China got busted recently selling counterfeit DVDs. A couple of vietnamese illegal imigrant living in U.S state got busted for selling counterfeits, estimated gross was 150,000 usd a year they've made. They had bought a nice big home in the U.S and not problably in jail or deported. Lots of illegal online pharmacies are getting busted outside of U.S. U.S governments and other foreign governments are working closely together to take down illegal sales of goods and drugs. These days everyone and anyone will be watching closely as they want to know how you make money and where does your money distributed ( meaning any funding to support terrorist groups ). I guess nowaday you can't make exta income to be able to have financial fun without answering to someone LOL. You can't sell any counterfeit items/goods know as ' VERO" policy on Ebay, otherwise they will suspend your account. if ebay don't find you first then more likely your SOUR competitors will snitch on you , anyhow you will be caught selling illegal counterfeits. IS THERE ANY OTHER ITEMS IN THAILAND YOU CAN SELL THAT ARE NOT COUNTERFEIT? Anyone have hookups on POSTERS? Counterfeits or not let me know. Can someone in Thailand some posters to me to the U.S? LOL and no I'm not selling on ebay . I'm looking for movies/ mucic/pop/ cartoon all american posters.

Sincerely,
nanaplaza

Did you mention on e-bay that it was original stuff or counterfeit? If you did not mention that it was counterfeit I have a problem with you like with other sellers which do the same thing.
If I buy on e-bay I want to buy original goods at a good price. I do not want look alike copies or pay for them. If I buy a golf club, a camera, computer material or whatever, I want the original stuff I expect it to be, which I can register if necessary, and with a legal guarantee.
All copies and counterfeit products are fraud if not known by the buyer. If I buy a counterfeit I want to know it before so I can agree with the fact it is a copy. I have no problem with for example look alike golfmaterial of big companies if they don't use the company name but slightly change it. Then it is up to the buyer to decide if the cheap copy is as good as the original, but for me they won't do.

Well if a seller is sellling copies or alike goods then they described it as "COMPARE TO, REPLICA DESIGN, ALTERNATIVE " and ect. and can not mention the exact legit designer's name as they will VERO such member. If ebay wont spot you first then the competitions ( other sellers ) will snitch on you, either way you will get VERO and suspension. I still see so many counterfeits still offering to sell on ebay and they just keep on coming and coming...

The last time I was in BKK 2004, i had purchased 30 LV women's handbags for a friend of mines and didn't know about how HOT they were and the trouble I can get into after arriving to LAX. Thank god I passed up 7 officers without a hassle. I will NEVER do that again not even for gifts. My friend took the goods and gave it to families, she could of sold it for $ 80 a piece. I purchased those in patpong wholesale for only 5 usd to 9 usd each.

Nanaplaza, I can agree with you. Problem is I would like to know is he sold with the mentioning "COMPARE TO, REPLICA DESIGN, ALTERNATIVE " or whatever.
Fine if people make a profit by selling things on e-bay, but I object to ripping me off some money even for curry or drinks) by selling fakes which I buy for genuine and pay that price.

OK. My appologies DARBS. If you mention "very good copy" you are correct and are not one of those I have "a problem" with.
