Does anybody know if there is a place to learn Thai-massage in Phuket? To say it precisely: learn to give a proper thai-massage.
I am a very expert in receiving it, now would like to do it to others.
Any idea?

I do know a woman who stayed in Patong for 3 months for this very purpose about 2 years ago.

A quick search on yahoo has thrown up several websites.

Try this 1 as it offers courses in massage but I don't know if you can find cheaper places.

Thanks bfb for the link, they are rebuilding, but I sent a mail to ask for infos. Has anybody experienced a course?

I was having a -proper- massage in Chiang Mai last year and the mattress next to me was being used to teach a farang how to do it. It seemd to consist of giving him a book with pictures and leting him get on with it(I think he was practising on his girlfriend). The teacher wasn't paying much attention and seemed very bored but like most things in LOS if you pay your money you will come away with a certificate of competence!
