State of Origin????
G'day everyone, Does anyone know if the State of Origin will be screened anywhere? I'll be in Patong late June, throughout July with some other mates, and would really like to have a beer and watch the footy. I was thinking Aussie Bar, any others? Jezz, I wish it was the end of June now!!!!! Any info much appreciated. Cheers.

ABC ASIA has rugby league match of the round every weekend so me thinks
they would show state of orgin.

most bars have sky tv so it should be no prob i always catch the english premiership when i am in los so i don't see no reason why you can't watch state of orgin

Yeah thats because Star has the rights to Live premiership coverage in Asia! Also becuase Murdoch either owns both, or at least is a major shareholder in them! Though i could be wrong!

I'm at the moment in discussions with the boss, my wife, about installing a dish to pick up the PAS8 satellite which is where the ABC is broadcasted. Might have to try and hurry this along so I can watch the State of Origin.
I think a good idea to get whatever Aussies are in town together and watch this somewhere, dont worry I know where we can go.

yeah as Stevem said it is on abc asia pacific. Every year have been able to watch it while at the hotel which happened to be Patong Merlin and it was only about a half hour delay when watching last year so if talking to someone back home make sure they dont spoil the score for you.
looking forward again this year so if Stevem organises something let us know.
