Well,

This post is a major milestone for me.

I have posted on this forum even before it was 'updated' like it is now.

From the very first day I posted here, until I sit here now, my life has been incredible.

I remember the first day I ever walked into Mai Thai Bar and met Nicke.
Soooo friendly -

I remember he said -

"Dirty mike, you very very famous board member, good to see you at last."

I had done nothing special. Only logged onto a place which I loved - phuket-info.com

The best thing about this forum is that you actually meet the people you talk to.

So many really good, honest people.

One thing I have said and will continue to say is this -

If you have 2,000 posts or only 1, your opinion is important.

Just because I have been here a long time means nothing.

One of the things that really keeps me 'fresh' is seeing the pictures and listening to stories from the people that have just been.

I am a looooong way from knowing it all about Thailand.

If I knew 5% i would be happy.

Keep posting 'newbies'.

Nicke is the one who should take the praise.

Well done for the 2000 post milestone Mike. It was a pleasure to meet you in LOS and I hope we will meet again. You have made me laugh a lot with some of your posts,made me think with others,but above all you have honesty.
As you say,the first visit to LOS can be a life changing moment,and your posts have given much pleasure to many people.Keep it going mate.
