Mountain bike info - Cape Panwa

Hi,
I'm looking for some info on mountain biking in the Cape Panwa area of Phuket. I've done a lot of riding in Phuket before but not in this area. Does anyone know of any local riding groups or clubs that I could get in touch with?

I'll be there for two weeks from 30 May and I'll be bringing my own bike with me.

cheers,
Calum

Hi Calum
You must be keen if you are taking a bike with you from Scotland to Phuket
Most people on the forum are more interested in a different sort of riding but have a look at the following link.Hope it helps.

So don't you guys talk about 'going down fast' or 'big rings'? Hmmm... Maybe somebody could tell me where I could get a really good pump then?

You can`t get a BG on the back of a mountain bike can you

Hi SafeAs,
As long as our combined luggage weight is within the allowed limit there's no specific charge. Excess weight is charged per kilo and varies from one carrier to another. BMI, who are taking us from Galsgow to Heathrow, charge £2.42 per excess kilo which isn't bad at all. Flying with Ryanair or Easyjet any awkward sporting luggage like golf bags, skis, surfboards or bikes is a fixed £15.00 each way.

BG on the back of the bike? No, you'd have her sitting on your top tube of course.

cheers,
Calum

If you ride into Patong and go into Soi Crocodile in Bangla Rd you will have no end of offers for a really good pump, especially if you wear your cycle shorts
